Frequently asked questions

Q: Where are you based?

A: We're based in Austin, TX with roots in El Paso — but we’ve also performed in Suriname, Kenya, and all over Texas.

Q: What kind of events do you perform at?

A: We play clubs, festivals, art spaces, museums, weddings, nonprofit galas, and anything where people want to feel something real.

Q: Where have you played before?

We’ve been lucky to play some of Austin’s most iconic stages, music festivals, and surprise spots — always chasing that spark between performer and crowd.

You may have seen Oh Antonio and His Imaginary Friends at:

  • SXSW Cares, HAAM Day, Austin Music Week, Free Week, Austin Pride, and the City of Austin’s New Year’s Eve celebration

  • Legendary venues like Stubb’s, Mohawk, Hole in the Wall, The Belmont, The Parish, Empire Control Room, Oskar Blues, Holy Mountain, Red Eyed Fly, Red Shed Tavern, Holy Mountain, Scoot Inn, Meanwhile Brewing, Flipnotics, and Kick Butt Coffee

From beer gardens to black box theaters to civic stages, we bring the same emotional fire everywhere we go.

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes! We’re available for regional and international travel. Additional fees may apply.

Q: What’s your typical set length?

A: Sets are usually 45–60 minutes, but we can adapt to your event’s flow. We flexible ya-know!

Q: What genre do youplay?

A: Our sound blends indie pop, chamber folk, and emotional rock with a hopeful twist. It’s part orchestral daydream, part open-heart surgery, often delivered with a wink.

You might hear traces of Sufjan Stevens, The Magnetic Fields, Frank Turner, The Cure, Belle and Sebastian, The Smoking Popes or Arcade Fire, but with a DIY confessional core that’s uniquely ours..

Expect vulnerable lyrics, lush arrangements, and unexpected humor

Q: Have you shared the bill with other artists?

A:
Yes! We’ve shared the bill with an eclectic mix of artists — from Austin mainstays to international acts — and we love trading energy with musicians who bring something honest, vibrant, or flat-out wild to the stage.

Some of our favorite co-bills include:

Big Joanie (Kill Rock Stars), Cloudchord, Hans Gruber and The Die Hards, Chris Staples (Barsuk), Tallhart (Equal Vision), The Selfless Lovers, Tomboi, Donovan Keith, Como Las Movies, Dr. Joe, Belcurve, Beth Lee and The Breakups, Andrew Delaney and The Horse He Rode In On, The March Divide, The Danger * Cakes, Alex Alco, Stretch Panic, Midnight Butterfly, Bird Casino, Half Gringa (Chicago, IL), Naia Valdez (Lima, Peru), Geexella (Jacksonville, FL), and The Gents.

We’ve also been billed with Austin powerhouses like Brownout, Ian Moore, Tomar and the FCs, Magna Carda, Charlie Faye and The Fayettes, Money Chicha, The Watters, Kalu and The Electric Joint, Mobley, The Tiarras, Warren Hood, Gentleman Rogues, Burgess Meredith, Craig Marshall, and Jane Ellen Bryant.
